The application will open on February 16th, 2019 and will close on March 22nd, 2019.
To apply, detail a well-articulated project objective, as well as a workable plan which you want to implement in India for 6-9 months. The proposal will be reviewed by a diverse committee of faculty and administrators from the MIT School of Management and will be evaluated for its efficacy as a project plan with impact potential mapped to the SDG goals.
The scholarship is open to registered Sloan Fellow MBA, who may apply individually or in teams of two. The student has the option to team up with Significant Other, other program students at MIT or even other non MIT co-founder, if directly contributing to the project
The winning project will be granted a one-time award of 10,000 USD upon arrival in India, with an additional honorarium of 1,000 USD per month, per person, during the implementation phase to cover the cost of living in India. The project contract period in India begins on August 16, 2019 and will last 6 and 9 months.
Support in India
While in India, the chosen AIM Scholar(s) will receive logistics and office support besides financial reward. In addition the AIM Scholar(s) will receive guidance from a collective of senior advisors and a group of mentors & experts from various domains. During the tenure, the advisors would guide from their real-world experiences in the impact space to take the ideas from concept to execution.
Progress & Outcomes
The AIM Scholar(s) will upload a monthly progress report on the project plan to the scholarship website.
The progress report will be made available for both the collective and Jury to review and provide feedback.
The mentors(s) will review and confirm satisfactory progress against the project plan once a quarter for continued support from the trust.At the end of the project the scholar(s) will submit a formal report to the trustees and include the following information:

In the case that the AIM Scholar(s)decide to convert the project into a business venture in India or any other nation, the Anusha Welfare Trust will request to have the opportunity to participate in their journey by having the option to co-invest in the venture.
